New male tiger eyes his bride. A stud tiger ‘327’, translocated from China to Laohu Valley Reserve in South Africa on April 24th has quickly adapted to his new accommodations in Laohu Valley Reserve South Africa. He especially took well to his new diet which includedfresh blesbok and springbok meat. Although he seemed to have his eyes set on Madonna at first sight, his attention did turn to his intended bride ‘Cathay’ quickly, who often rolls seductively on her back when 327 takes a walk by on the other side of the fence. His potential rival TigerWoods loved to game stalk him on the other side of the fence. Our team is carefully monitoring their behaviors and plans have been made to introduce Cathay and “327” in early July, if “327” and Cathay’s interactions through the fences continued to be amicable.
New David Tang Tiger Breeding Center. Stud Tiger “ 327” from the Suzhou zoo of China was the first resident of Laohu Valley’s new breeding center named after patron David Tang. The sparkling new facility will provide a comfortable and spacious rendezvous for 327 and his bride ‘Cathay’ as well as a protective environment for their expected offspring. SCT is hoping to find generous sponsors to give 327 a name.
